Our House, Inc., an Atlanta-based nonprofit, seeks a Senior Accountant to own the integrity of the general ledger and lead monthly and year-end closes. You will prepare financial statements, assist with audits, and ensure grant compliance. This role reports to the CFO and serves as a backup for financial operations.

You will collaborate with a small finance team, maintain internal controls, and ensure accurate revenue recognition for funder agreements. In-office role in Atlanta, GA.

Qualificações

• Proficient knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards (ASC 958).
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience preparing audit work papers and supporting schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the month-end and year-end close and deliver reports to the CFO.
• Prepare complex journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
• Ensure grant spending complies with federal Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
• Lead annual audit and Single Audit, and coordinate Form 990 preparation.
