Job summary

CFS has partnered with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to hire a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and to lead the transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to NetSuite. This hybrid role is based in South Boston, MA and offers an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission while enhancing ERP systems and financial processes.

• GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience supporting or leading a NetSuite implementation, Great Plains to NetSuite is a plus.
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.

CFS has partnered with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and play a key role in the organization's transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to NetSuite.

This role will be a hybrid position out of South Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial reports and support annual audits.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Serve as a finance lead during the Great Plains to NetSuite implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting or leading a NetSuite implementation. Great Plains to NetSuite implementation is a huge plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.

Compensation

$100,000 - $115,000, depending on experience and level.
