Job summary

CFS, in partnership with a mission-driven nonprofit, seeks an Accounting Manager-level consultant to support day-to-day accounting operations and lead the transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP to NetSuite. Hybrid schedule in South Boston, MA.

Responsibilities include GL management, month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits, plus data migration and ERP testing. Collaboration with finance, IT, and consultants to ensure a successful NetSuite implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience supporting or leading a NetSuite implementation.
• Great Plains to NetSuite implementation experience is a huge plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare financial reports and support annual audits.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Serve as a finance lead during the Great Plains to NetSuite implementation.
• Support data migration, testing, process improvements, and user training.
• Partner with finance, IT, and implementation consultants to ensure a successful ERP transition.
