Job summary

BlueHub Capital seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will manage accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, and month-end close, while supporting ERP implementation and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience with complex transactions, and a collaborative approach in a hybrid Boston-area setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience; senior accountant role or equivalent.
• CDFI, mortgage lending, loan servicing, banking, high-tech, or construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with NetSuite and ERP implementations highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Record, monitor, and reconcile daily cash transactions with supporting documentation.
• Record and reconcile loan transactions in the Loan Management System; coordinate with teams.
• Manage mortgage borrower remittances and ACH draw activities with mortgage team.
• Oversee Accounts Payable processes including invoicing, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close; prepare journal entries and analyses.
• Support ERP implementations, data validation, testing, and user adoption.
