Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a multi-location retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, including daily cash receipts and deposits.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and proper classification.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support financial schedules.
• Assist the Accounting Manager with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting and closing activities.
• Supervise and support the Accounts Payable Clerk, oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and related accounting functions.
• Collaborate with department heads across multiple retail store locations to address accounting matters, review financial information, and ensure accurate reporting of store-level activities.
