Job summary

Bulk Environmental & Industrial seeks a Senior Accountant in Miami to lead month-end close, reconcile accounts, and support GAAP reporting. The role demands deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, strong analytical skills, and independent work in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will drive process improvements within NetSuite ERP, support audits, and collaborate with FP&A, HR, and Operations on financial initiatives and multi-entity operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA track preferred).
• 4–5 years of accounting experience, including equity-owned organizations.
• Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience (GL, FA, AP/AR, reporting).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience working in multi-entity organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with comfort reporting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Participate in internal and external financial reporting, including variance analysis for stakeholders.
• Support financial audits and assist with board/investor reporting and lender requirements.
• Drive process improvements and automation within NetSuite ERP.
• Maintain internal controls and collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, HR, and Operations.
• Participate in special projects including system upgrades or acquisitions.
