Aston Carter invites applications for a Senior Accountant position in Chattanooga, TN. This on-site role supports a newly established division of independently operated sales agencies within a multi-location organization.

Responsibilities include daily agency accounting, intercompany reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting under GAAP. The position emphasizes process integration and onboarding of acquisitions with ERP transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-entity or decentralized environment.
• Experience with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily accounting support to multiple agencies per corporate policies.
• Review and post AP/AR, credit cards, expense reports, invoicing, and journal entries.
• Support invoicing, payments, deposits, and payroll-related entries.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing, receipts, and month-end balances.
• Record monthly intercompany reclassifications and allocate shared costs.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and coordinate with other teams to fix variances.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned agencies.
