Cohere seeks an experienced Senior Accountant in Austin, TX. This hybrid role focuses on ownership of financial reporting across multiple entities and close processes, partnering with Operations and other stakeholders.

You will manage GAAP-compliant statements, month-end close, budgeting and audits, while providing clear financial insights to drive business decisions. Bachelor's in accounting and 5+ years experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive professional accounting experience; 8 years preferred.
• Strong experience in financial statement prep and multi-entity reporting.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls; proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely financial statements and schedules for assigned entities.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Review results, analyze variances, and provide explanations.
• Oversee cash and investments accounting, AP approvals where needed.
