Job summary

Evolving Solution Services in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain accurate, timely financial records across five entities using QuickBooks. You will own core month-end close functions, perform reconciliations, payroll accounting, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset activity in a fast-paced construction setting.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Approximately 2 years of public accounting experience.
• Approximately 1 year of private industry experience working within a general ledger system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities.
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions between the company’s five affiliated entities.
• Perform payroll accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and payroll‑related reconciliations.
• Code and reconcile company credit card transactions.
• Maintain the fixed asset schedule, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in QuickBooks.
• Assist with account analysis, journal entries, and accrual accounting.
• Support annual audits, tax preparation, and other external reporting requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with the VP of Finance on ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
