Job summary

Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage core general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation. You will lead multi-entity audit support and coordinate with operations, sustainability, and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP are highly valued in this in-office role.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or related Finance area or combination of work/experience may be considered.
• CPA preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform core general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close tasks.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Lead the coordination and execution of the multi‑entity audit, ensuring timely responses to auditor requests and completeness of evidence.
• Collaborate with operations, sustainability, and finance teams to ensure alignment and consistency in multi‑entity data capture and reporting.
• Support annual financial audits and assist with technical accounting research as needed.
• Participate in month‑end, quarterly, and year‑end reporting, preparing accruals and schedules and submitting monthly and ad hoc financial reporting packages as directed by management.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks and duties.
• This is an in office‑based role In Dallas.
