Job summary

The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of U.S. GAAP; CPA is strongly preferred. Public accounting experience is a plus, and experience with NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracy.
• Review financial results and explain variances to management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support external auditors during audits.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Manage fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Assist with system upgrades or new accounting tools.
• Guide and mentor junior accounting staff.
