Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting functions, report to the Controller, and support timely month-end close.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and expertise in general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting. ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and journal entries.
• Strong reconciliation abilities and research of discrepancies.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Support external audits and internal controls.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements.
