Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Money Movement team. You will support the monthly loss reserves process, perform GL close and bank reconciliations, and tackle ad hoc projects as we build new payment rails.

You will read SQL queries and use AI tools to accelerate reconciliations, with heavy emphasis on data insight and accuracy. A CPA or progress toward is a plus, and the role operates within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA a plus.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including GL close and bank/cash reconciliations.
• Proficient in reading SQL to query and validate data and using AI tools for analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist a senior accountant with monthly loss reserves process, pulling data and summarizing trends.
• Perform monthly GL close activities and bank/cash reconciliations in GAAP alignment.
• Read and interpret SQL queries to validate data and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Support automation initiatives to reduce manual work and improve accuracy.
• Adhere to close calendars and maintain internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on project work within Money Movement.
