Job summary

McKesson seeks a Sr. Accountant – Leases in Richmond, VA for hybrid work. You’ll handle monthly/quarterly lease accounting, ensure ASC 842 compliance, and partner with Real Estate, FP&A, and Shared Services to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including lease accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred; ASC 842 expertise and close experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly lease accounting activities and related reconciliations.
• Ensure ASC 842 compliance and accurate reporting of leases.
• Collaborate with partners across Real Estate, FP&A, and Shared Services.
• Support external audits and SOX testing; assist with separation initiatives.
