Job summary

Addison Group client is seeking a driven Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in Pennsauken, NJ. You will supervise transactions across AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, and journal entries, and review coding accuracy while supporting month-end close and variance analyses.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting and SAGE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting or manufacturing background is preferred.
• MS Excel proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transaction-level accounting across AP, AR, fixed assets, payroll, and journal entries; review coding accuracy and documentation.
• Monitor the general ledger for errors and initiate corrective action.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with Controller escalation.
• Maintain the close checklist and deliver month-end schedules and variance analyses.
