Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant for a client in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The role covers month-end close, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. This hybrid role requires in-office work 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and analyze financial results.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial activity, investigate variances, and assist with reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting and capitalizations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and monthly close schedules.
• Assist with inventory reconciliations and related reserves.
