Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks or a comparable ERP/accounting system.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Own revenue recognition and related schedules (ASC 606).
• Manage ASC 842 lease accounting, including ROUs and liabilities.
• Oversee payroll accruals and labor allocation to cost centers.
• Oversee AP/AR activities and Bill.com processing.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings; support external auditors.
