Job summary

Forge Nano Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee core accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role focuses on GAAP compliance, process improvements, and mentoring junior staff in a fast-paced environment.

The position covers monthly close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), payroll cost accounting, and accounts payable/receivable. Location is Thornton, CO with full-time responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Required: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with QuickBooks or a comparable ERP/accounting system.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead month, quarter, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger and fixed assets schedules.
• Oversee AP/AR, bill processing, and collections.
• Support revenue recognition under ASC 606 and lease accounting ASC 842.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and internal controls.
