Qualifications

• One year as an Accountant 3 or equivalent position or Public Accountant certification
• Four years of progressively responsible accounting experience
• Four years of bookkeeping experience with fifteen college credits in accounting; Master's may substitute for one year

Responsibilities

• Lead staff who manage payment processing and expenditure reporting
• Direct financial policies for county-based programs
• Review expenditure reports for accuracy and controls
• Analyze fiscal data to prepare reports and respond to requests
• Interpret regulations and provide guidance to counties and DHS personnel
