Job summary

Bonduelle Americas seeks a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations across the full manufacturing-to-shelf cycle. You will help manage the month-end close, safeguard the integrity of the general ledger, and deliver accurate financial reporting that informs decisions across sales, supply chain, and operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting with hands-on experience in inventory, costing, and trade spend analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle month-end close ownership.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and its application.
• Direct experience with inventory and cost accounting in manufacturing/CPG/food & beverage.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets).
• Experience with a major ERP system (JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-departmental communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: manage journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: standard costing, variances, cycle counts, inventories.
• Cost of Sales: track and report, analyze margins, explain variances.
• Trade Spend & Deductions: reconcile trade accruals, gross-to-net analysis.
• General Ledger: maintain accounts, prepare reconciliations, investigate issues.
• Financial Reporting: prepare statements and internal management reports; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Audit & Controls: support external audits; strengthen internal controls and processes.
• Compliance: assist with sales/use tax and regulatory filings relevant to manufactured goods.
• Process Improvement: identify automation opportunities in ERP and close process.
