Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations across the manufacturing-to-shelf cycle in its Philadelphia office. You will lead month-end close, safeguard GL integrity, and deliver accurate financial reporting impacting sales, supply chain, and operations.

The ideal candidate has IFRS expertise, inventory/cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close ownership.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of IFRS and its application.
• Direct experience with inventory and cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing, CPG, food & beverage, or a related product-based industry.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large-dataset analysis).
• Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to partner across departments.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close — including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Inventory & Cost Accounting: Standard costing, variance analysis, and cycle counts.
• Cost of Sales: Track and report cost of sales, analyze margin fluctuations, prepare variance commentary.
• Trade Spend & Deductions: Reconcile trade accruals and support gross-to-net revenue analysis.
• General Ledger: Maintain GL accounts and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Assist with IFRS-compliant statements and internal reports; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Audit & Controls: Support external audits and strengthen internal controls.
• Compliance: Assist with tax filings relevant to manufactured goods.
• Process Improvement: Identify ERP/close automation opportunities.
