Job summary

Retirement Plan Advisors in Chicago offers an Accountant II/III position with hybrid work arrangement. You will support the Finance Director, manage day-to-day accounting tasks, and help maintain accurate financial reporting for a DC retirement plan client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• 3-7 years accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• GAAP knowledge and internal controls familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, reconcile, and verify accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve issues.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Contribute to year-end reporting and audit.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
