Job summary

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant in Columbus, OH to support critical accounting operations during a period of growth. The role offers potential to convert to a permanent position and a flexible hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close, analyzing variances, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills; CPA or CPA-track is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• ERP experience preferred
• CPA or CPA-track a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Analyze financial statement variances
• Assist with audit preparation
• Identify process improvement opportunities
