Nikon SLM Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations in the U.S. manufacturing environment.

The role covers full-cycle accounting, month-end close, IFRS reporting, and inventory accounting, with collaboration across global finance teams. Based in Long Beach with a hybrid on-site 2-3 days per week, the position requires strong technical accounting knowledge, independent work, and the ability to coordinate with teams in Germany and on the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting in manufacturing/industrial env.
• Experience with international organizations and global finance teams.
• Ability to work primarily with Pacific Time hours.
• Proficient in ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports per IFRS and company requirements.
• Support financial reporting and consolidation with global headquarters.
• Assist cash management, banking activities, and cash flow reporting.
• Handle inventory accounting, reconciliations, and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Support accounts payable, expense reporting, and payroll-related accounting.
