Job summary

Nikon Metrology Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant in Brighton, Michigan, onsite. You will manage and analyze financial data, including inventory and production costing, and prepare reports for corporate use.

The role requires accurate financial analysis and collaboration across departments to support monthly, quarterly and annual closes. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounting-related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-lookups.

Responsibilities

• Record accounting transactions including intercompany billing and payables.
• Maintain accounting records and reconcile accounts.
• Monitor Capex spending and lead fixed asset audits.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for budget processes.
