Job summary

CFS is hiring a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role in Columbus, OH. You will support weekly and monthly close processes, manage reconciliations, and assist with new location openings as the company expands with private equity backing.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and experience with multi-unit accounting. This position offers exposure to senior leadership including the Controller, CFO, and CEO, plus bonus potential tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly income statements.
• Perform monthly account, accrual, credit card, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage prepaid assets, capital expenditure accounting, and pre-opening expenses.
• Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns and payments.
• Support month-end financial statement reviews and inventory management.
• Assist with accounting support, SOP documentation, and new location openings.
