Job summary

CFS in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior Accountant to move from public accounting into a high-visibility corporate accounting role. You will gain exposure to monthly closes, consolidations, financial reporting, and interaction with senior leadership in a Fortune 500 environment, with a hybrid work setup.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 3+ years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems; CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a public company environment.
• Experience with financial statement consolidations and month-end close processes.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems; OneStream experience is a plus.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly close and consolidation process.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to ensure accurate consolidated statements.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and corporate financial reporting activities.
• Manage accounting for treasury activity, borrowings, reserves, and other corporate accounting areas.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to support audits and resolve accounting issues.
