Job summary

Fives Lund LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support financial reporting, data aggregation, and AP/AR oversight. This role leads a small accounting team and interfaces with HR on payroll processing.

You will own month-end close, support budgeting and forecasting, and help maintain strong controls with GAAP expertise. Hybrid work and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience driving and coordinating month-end close processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation and/or public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel, ERP experience, and ability to produce dashboards/reports.

Responsibilities

• Owns month-end close, including quarterly and annual reporting to the Fives Group ($2B).
• Collaborates with the Director of Finance on budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Develops and maintains accounting policies and reconciliation procedures.
• Oversees Fixed Asset Schedule, COA, Prepaids, Revenue Recognition, Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Prepares and files state taxes; supports audits and external tax teams.
• Manages payroll with HR (bi-weekly) via ADP and posts GL entries.
• Creates accounting system reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Supervises AP/AR day-to-day activities and vendor setup, invoicing, and cash flows.
