Job summary

Affiliated Resources Group (ARG) is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee HCV program accounting, ensuring HUD/GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting. The role emphasizes HAP, admin fees, portability, and timely audits.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, familiarity with HUD VMS/FDS, and strong analytical skills to support budgeting, forecasting and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public housing or HCV programs.
• Direct experience with HUD Housing Choice Voucher financial operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions for the HCV program, including HAP and admin fee revenue.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports per HUD and GAAP.
• Record and report HCV transactions in the general ledger accurately.
• Monitor funding utilization, budget authority and leasing levels.
