Job summary

Affiliated Resources Group (ARG) is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee HCV program accounting, ensure HUD/GAAP compliance, and support audits. You will manage financial reporting, GL reconciliations, and inter-agency coordination to support program integrity and regulatory adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred) and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Yardi, VMS, and FDS reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in public housing or HCV programs.
• Direct experience with HUD Housing Choice Voucher financial operations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting for the HCV Program, including HAP and admin fee revenue.
• Prepare and review HUD/GAAP-compliant financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Reconcile HCV activities in the general ledger and monitor budget authority.
• Coordinate with auditors for Single Audit and HUD reviews; ensure compliance.
