Job summary

The Georgia Department of Community Affairs is seeking a senior accounting professional to oversee financial operations for the statewide Housing Choice Voucher program. You will supervise accounting staff and manage HAP payments, subsidy drawdowns, HUD reporting, and VMS submissions, while monitoring budgets and supporting audits.

This role requires strong GAAP/HUD compliance knowledge, with experience in eLOCCS and HUD rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, accounting, finance, or related field; OR associate’s plus two years fiscal analysis; OR four years fiscal analysis.
• Experience supervising or training staff.
• Knowledge of HUD HCV rules, HAP processing, and eLOCCS.
• VMS reporting and HUD financial compliance experience.
