Job summary

ServiceSource, a champion for people with disabilities, is seeking a detailed General Ledger Accountant to support full-cycle accounting across multiple programs and entities, with a key focus on HUD housing units.

You will prepare and post journal entries, conduct account reconciliations and analyses, assist with monthly and year-end closes, support external audits, and help strengthen internal controls while driving process improvements and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of progressive general ledger or financial accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with US GAAP and balance-sheet reconciliations required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle or NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare audit-ready schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting cycle for HUD entities and housing units across programs.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Oversee general ledger across multiple entities in GAAP framework.
• Consolidate data and produce footnotes and management reports.
• Support external audits and maintain internal controls; drive process improvements.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide technical training.
