The Robo Hub is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, monthly close, financial reporting, and tax coordination in our Boston-area office. You will own QuickBooks Online, maintain accurate records, and help scale our processes as the company grows.

Reporting to the Head of Finance & Technology, you will implement a robust monthly closing, reconcile core accounts, and collaborate with external CPAs for year-end matters while ensuring U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Own QuickBooks Online and GL maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Establish a standardized monthly closing process and complete first close within 30 days of joining.
• Maintain an ongoing monthly closing schedule, checklist, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate with external accountants for specialized reviews and year-end matters.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payroll, revenue and key balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow reports).
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Support audits and prepare necessary schedules and documentation.
• Reconcile revenue transactions across Stripe, Sawyer, and other platforms.
• Maintain revenue recognition and deferred revenue schedules; manage AR.
• Reconcile payroll transactions, liabilities, and tax records.
• Manage accounts payable and expense classifications.
• Review Stripe, Ramp transactions for proper accounting treatment.
• Ensure timely recording of financial transactions in QuickBooks.
• Implement QuickBooks Class Tracking and location tracking for hub programs.
• Maintain program-level accounting records and documentation.
• Maintain tax compliance calendars and coordinate with CPAs.
• Prepare tax schedules and documentation for business tax returns.
• Assist with annual reports and regulatory filings.
