Job summary

The Senior Accountant role with Aston Carter is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and sits within a growing accounting team. The position is fully onsite, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvements to support acquisitions and continued growth.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA or are actively pursuing one, with strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, revenue accounting, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA certification or active CPA candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in public accounting or mid-sized firms.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close process.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support financial statements and reporting.
• Perform revenue accounting activities.
• Review work and mentor team members.
• Assist with acquisition-related accounting and integrations.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
