Kratos Defense and Security Solutions in Orlando, FL is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial operations across domestic and international activities, including general ledger, contract invoicing, cash-flow forecasting, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR, GAAP, and government contracting, and proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of applicable experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR, SBA, GSA, and SCA.
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite and QuickBooks Time.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports and projections.
• Ability to present financial information to management and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting operations: GL, AP, AR, and payroll as needed.
• Manage international contract invoices, including foreign currency billing.
• Review VAT filings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare monthly financial performance reports and 13-week cash forecasts.
• Coordinate month-end close and annual audits supporting processes.
• Assist with budgets, indirect rate projections, and financial audits.
