Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks a Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions in a government contracting environment. You will support the general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting, collaborating with the VP Finance and multiple departments to ensure audit-ready records.

Experience with Costpoint and manufacturing or defense industries is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, AP, AR, and cost accounting activities.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Support month-end close and journal entries.
• Assist with budgets, indirect rate projections and audits.
• Coordinate with VP Finance and cross-functional teams.
