Gallagher Recruiting LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a small, collaborative accounting team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close experience.
• Experience processing payroll – not just recording payroll entries.
• Solid general accounting across GL, reconciliations, journal entries, AP and AR.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Collaborative, flexible attitude

Responsibilities

• Support and execute the month-end close for multiple companies
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process payroll for three companies and manage related benefits reconciliations
• Manage employee expenses, reimbursements and travel-related accounting
• Assist with annual audit preparation and requests
• Support general accounting activities across AP, AR, GL, payroll and sales tax
• Research discrepancies and help ensure accurate financial records
