Job summary

T1 Energy Inc. in Wilmer, Texas, is hiring a Senior Accountant to manage intercompany accounting, general ledger integrity, and consolidations across multiple entities. This hands-on role sits at the center of our monthly close process to ensure accurate, timely, and audit-ready financials.

You will help maintain clean books across entities, support consolidated reporting for leadership, auditors, and lenders, and contribute to technical accounting and process optimization as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required (or actively pursuing).
• Progressive accounting experience, with some exposure to team coordination or supervisory responsibilities.
• Prior public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with various accounting systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with technical accounting research and new standards.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Operations.
• Review and enhance accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors.
• Assist in managing inter-company transactions, eliminations, and currency impacts.
• Mentor accounting staff and foster a high-performance team environment.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting.
