Job summary

X-Group in Willis, Texas, is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support monthly close and financial reporting for U.S. operations. You will handle general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, capital assets, cost accounting, budgeting support, and financial analysis.

You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and well-supported financial data while strengthening accounting processes and controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and general ledger activity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Review general ledger activity and ensure correct accounting periods.
• Support cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reporting.
• Support internal controls and audits as needed.
