Job summary

Helmerich & Payne (H&P) in Tulsa, OK, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant, Consolidations & Intercompany Accounting to join our Corporate Accounting team. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, perform intercompany eliminations, and maintain accurate multi-entity financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, or intercompany accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations).

Responsibilities

• Support consolidations of domestic and international entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Assist external and internal reporting requirements with timely financial information.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Coordinate intercompany funding, settlements, and related accounting activities.
