Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance or closely related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience; real estate or public accounting preferred.
• Understanding of the accounting cycle, debits and credits.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities with critical thinking.
• Collaborative work style and strong work ethic; communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial statements for assigned portfolio or corporate entities.
• Maintain full General Ledger.
• Prepare or manage monthly financial statements.
• Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports.
• Facilitate completion of monthly close process.
• Analyze revenue and expenses to ensure proper recording monthly.
• Ensure bank reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly.
• Lead transactional close statements and closing journal entries.
• Coordinate and oversee offshore staff accountants, assign tasks, communicate priorities, monitor deadlines.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement support.
