KKR in Boston is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Investment Accounting team. This role supports monthly, quarterly and annual close activities, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy across holdings and related data.

The successful candidate will analyze balances and movements, coordinate with Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, and other teams, and contribute to process improvements and automation efforts. A CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment accounting, insurance accounting, public accounting, financial reporting, investment operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience with U.S. statutory accounting is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual investment accounting close activities.
• Prepare and review reconciliations between investment accounting systems, the general ledger, holdings data and other source systems; investigate and resolve reconciling items.
• Support accounting and reporting for a broad range of investments, including fixed income securities, structured securities, mortgage and other loans, alternative investments and derivatives.
• Perform period-over-period analytical reviews of investment balances, income and other financial statement activity, and investigate significant or unusual movements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
• Assist with the accounting and reporting assessment of new investments, transaction structures and other business initiatives.
• Prepare supporting documentation for investment accounting conclusions and controls.
• Participate in system implementations, enhancements, testing and other initiatives impacting investment accounting processes.
