Job summary

Yugabyte is hiring for a finance/accounting role focused on the close process, journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-currency accounting. You will support audits, controls, and process improvements across global entities.

Qualifications

• Own month-end, quarter-end close calendar.
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, leases, A/P, credit cards).
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances promptly.
• Support multi-currency accounting, FX revaluation, and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flux analyses and support monthly financial statements.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure US GAAP compliance.
• Support annual financial statement audits and tax provision work, including PBC schedules.
• Document and strengthen internal controls and close procedures (SOX readiness).
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation in ERP and close tools.
• Manage daily cash positioning and bank activity across global entities.
• Execute and approve wires, intercompany funding, and payments under controls.
• Record and reconcile cash and investments, including interest and bank fees.
• Support state and federal compliance matters.
