Job summary

Yugabyte seeks a Sr. Manager, Accounting to own the close and reporting engine as the company scales. You will lead month-end and quarter-end close, ensure US GAAP compliance, and drive consolidations across international entities while preparing for the first external audit.

You will mentor a growing team, establish repeatable processes, and serve as the face of Corporate Accounting to the wider organization. This hybrid role offers visibility and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2–3 years in a management role.
• Strong command of US GAAP, financial close, consolidations, and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience supporting or leading an external audit is preferred.
• CPA is preferred and beneficial for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
• Own consolidations and GAAP reporting for international entities.
• Mentor and scale the accounting team; interface with auditors and leadership.
• Drive process improvements and automation across the accounting function.
• Oversee accounts payable, treasury, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Manage intercompany activity, foreign currency translation, and transfer pricing alignment.
• Document policies and ensure audit readiness for the first external audit.
