Job summary

Saks Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial processes, including month-end close, reporting, and audits. You will contribute to daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies, while helping prepare high-quality reports and analyses for decision-making.

The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial literacy.
• Experience with general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare financial schedules, variance analyses, and internal management reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support planning and tracking.
• Create schedules and internal reporting packages for leadership with accuracy and clarity.
• Assist in footnote or support schedules for quarterly and annual reporting and ensure compliance with controls.
