Job summary

Inotiv is seeking a seasoned Accountant to support the General Ledger and close processes. You will manage month-end activities, prepare reconciliations, and contribute to financial reporting within a hybrid office setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5–7 years’ experience, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems will be essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• Experience: 5-7 years total; 2-5 years in manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with month-end close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations as per financial calendar.
• Lead month-end close activities and meet close deadlines.
• Communicate observations to improve accounting processes.
• Assist with balance sheet analysis and follow-up items.
• Support auditors with requests and documentation.
• Support annual physical inventory processes and reconciliations.
• Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, and finance transformations.
• Assist with special projects and internal reporting requests.
