Job summary

Inotiv, Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant to join the General Ledger Accounting team in a hybrid role based in the Greater Indianapolis area. You will assist with the month-end close, manage account reconciliations, and contribute to standard costing and financial projects.

The role requires 5-7 years of experience, including 2-5 years in manufacturing, and strong Excel and ERP system skills (J.D. Edwards and Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• 5-7 years of work experience with 2-5 years in manufacturing/production.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (JD Edwards, Dynamics 365).
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for the close.
• Lead month-end close activities and meet deadlines.
• Support balance sheet reviews with analysis and follow-up.
• Assist auditors and support inventory and ERP initiatives.
