The Senior Accountant position at Omaha Eppley Airfield is a key role responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Authority's general ledger and financial records. You will oversee month-end close, fixed asset accounting, and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.

You will collaborate with the accounting team under the Accounting Manager, supervise payroll and vendor payments, support annual audits and budgets, and contribute to system improvements and internal controls.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years in general ledger accounting.
• Experience with payroll, including union payroll, preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in GAAP.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and disposals.
• Assist with annual audits, budgeting, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll accuracy.
• Support system implementations and internal control initiatives.
