Job summary

Evenflo seeks a Staff Accountant to manage general accounting and fixed assets, ensuring accurate records from acquisition to retirement. You will support month-end close, prepare journal entries, and provide reconciliations and schedules for audits.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 2–4 years of accounting experience, including fixed asset exposure, with strong Excel and ERP skills, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with fixed asset accounting.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and fixed asset accounting.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills with large data sets, formulas, lookups, and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations as part of the monthly close.
• Maintain fixed asset records, additions, disposals, transfers, retirements, and CIP balances.
• Calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization expense.
• Review capital expenditures for capitalization and asset classification.
• Assist with inventories, audits, and development of fixed asset policies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
