Job summary

Lightning AI seeks a Senior Accountant, General Ledger to support monthly close across multiple legal entities and to help redesign the close process during NetSuite implementation. You will handle cash reconciliations, intercompany activity, payroll-related entries, and asset schedules.

The role reports to the Director of Corporate Accounting in a hybrid San Francisco setting with two in-office days weekly, offering a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on monthly close work.
• Experience supporting an external audit as a preparer with stand-alone workpapers.

Responsibilities

• Support the general ledger close with journal entries and reconciliations across entities.
• Reconcile cash, intercompany, and payroll-related accounts; maintain schedules.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and flux analyses with commentary.
• Assist NetSuite implementation and document close processes and controls.
